Darren W. DeVore serves as Managing Partner of Broad Pine Investments, a holding company for various private equity and venture capital activities.
Broad Pine maintains investments in several businesses, including North Cape Investments, LLC, a private equity real estate business focused on the acquisition and management of skilled nursing facilities. Darren serves as a Principal of North Cape Investments. Broad Pine is also invested in Battle Investments Group, LLC, a private investment management firm that seeks to support the long-term expansion and success of enterprises and management teams operating in the North American defense, government, aerospace, telecommunications, and industrial sectors. Darren serves as a member of Battle Group’s Advisory Board and has been a Strategic Partner since 2016. In these roles, Darren supports the firm’s activities with a focus on investor relations/strategy, advisor/executive recruiting activities, and Battle Group’s investment process. Broad Pine has funded and successfully exited investments in several businesses, including: The Carroll Organization, CSC Ventures, Terra Partners, and Puzzle Social.
Prior to Broad Pine Investments, Darren spent 14 years as a Managing Director of Artisan Partners L.P., a leading global investment management firm. He designed and implemented marketing and client service strategies, growing the firm from approximately $800 million in assets under management to over $65 billion for clients globally. Before that, Darren spent 13 years as Vice President at Pacific Financial Asset Management Corporation (PIMCO Advisors), where he performed various functions, including launching a PIMCO subsidiary, Blairlogie Capital Management, a Scottish investment firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Darren holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
