Skip has spent more than 35 years advising companies on business strategy, technology commercialization, R&D planning, and mergers and acquisitions in the biotech, pharmaceutical and medical products industry.
Skip now serves as part-time Vice President for Noveome Biotherapeutics, a Pittsburgh-based biotechnology company developing novel biologic products for ophthalmic and dental applications, and Advisor, Partner Emeritus at Health Advances, a strategy consulting firm that focuses exclusively on the healthcare industry. Prior to these roles, Skip helped found seven life sciences companies as Vice President for Commercial Development at the Massachusetts Biotechnology Research Institute (MBRI), and founded and led the pharmaceutical consulting practice for Arthur D. Little, Inc. He has also previously worked in manufacturing and product development for AstraZeneca.
A long-standing interest in the neuroscience field, Skip serves on the Board of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and chairs the Research Committee and previously served on the Industry Advisory Committee for the Brain Tumor Society. He is also an advisor to Red Sky Partners and Locust Walk Partners.
Skip graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and earned his MBA at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
