Tracey Worthington Stice is the Chief Operating Officer of Aruna Bio

Under her direction, Aruna Bio was the first to company to commercialize a neural stem cell line derived from human pluripotent stem cells. Now, under her leadership in bio-processing, the company is prepared to model a new class of cell-free biologics, specifically exosomes, with the potential to modify outcomes from CNS damage, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Ms. Worthington-Stice brings over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and has held senior positions in executive management, business development, marketing, and operations. Her strength is in building operations and process improvement systems, influence and awareness, and value positioning. In the late ‘90s, while working at Advanced Cell Technology, headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts, Ms. Worthington-Stice made key introductions to stakeholders by aligning the Company’s narrative with the parallel effort of an integrated communications strategy to meet the priorities of a joint collaboration, worth $10 million with Genzyme Transgenics.

Previously, she served as the Chairperson of the Athens-Clarke County Hospital Authority, served on the Board of Directors of Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, and the Board of Directors of Athens Regional Medical Center, and was an active member on the Quality Committee at Piedmont Athens Regional Health System. She is also former Chair of the Georgia Bioscience Joint Development Authority and member of The Mayor’s Task Force on Economic Development. Ms. Worthington-Stice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in operations management and organizational development from the University of Massachusetts.
